Field Clinical Specialist – Tricuspid Therapies (Imaging)

About the role

The Field Clinical Specialist will support the Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies business unit by delivering clinical education, imaging expertise, and on‑site support for investigational cardiac devices. The role combines technical troubleshooting, training, and imaging analysis to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead imaging, integration and troubleshooting for equipment, software and tools during intra‑operative cases.
• Provide intraprocedural imaging support for beating‑heart studies and transcatheter device implantation.
• Conduct one‑on‑one ad‑hoc training sessions and structured in‑service education programs for physicians, hospital staff and field teams.
• Analyze, summarize and present baseline, procedural and follow‑up imaging (CT, echo, MRI, angiography) to inform product development and event investigations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to define imaging patient‑selection criteria and screening protocols.
• Oversee third‑party image analysis and contribute opinions on case suitability.
• Travel up to 50% of the time to provide on‑site support across the territory.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a technical field such as clinical physiology or echocardiography; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical‑device or clinical imaging roles.
• Fluent in French and professional English.
• Industry‑recognized imaging certification.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Required skills

• Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) expertise.
• Proficiency with imaging analysis software (e.g., 3Mensio, TomTec, Vitrea, Circle VI).
• Strong knowledge of cardiac imaging modalities: CT, echo, MRI, angiography.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication abilities.
• Ability to train and guide other imaging specialists.
