Field Clinical Specialist – Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies

About the role

The Field Clinical Specialist will support Edwards Lifesciences' Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT) portfolio. You will act as the clinical bridge between our innovative devices and the hospitals that use them, ensuring physicians and staff are fully trained and confident.

Key responsibilities

• Certify centers, physicians, and related staff according to Edwards SOPs.
• Interact with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and proctors to disseminate best practices.
• Provide comprehensive education on device handling, implantation, and troubleshooting.
• Develop, update, and deliver training curricula, materials, and tools based on trial experience and internal guidelines.
• Conduct one‑on‑one and structured in‑service training sessions for physicians, hospital personnel, and staff.
• Offer post‑procedure follow‑up support to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Mentor new Field Clinical Specialists and share field insights.
• Collaborate with Business Managers on upselling and growth strategies in strategic accounts.
• Validate software and hardware updates in the field and monitor market and competitive activity.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical devices or related clinical roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Training experience in a clinical or technical environment.
• Knowledge of interventional cardiology and implantable devices is a strong advantage.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Fluent in French and professional English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
