Field Clinical Specialist, Imaging – Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies

About the role

The Field Clinical Specialist – Imaging will support the Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies business unit by delivering expert imaging education, on‑site support and troubleshooting for clinical users of our transcatheter devices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead imaging integration, equipment and software troubleshooting during intra‑operative cases and provide one‑on‑one and structured training in the Cath Lab.
• Provide intraprocedural imaging support for beating‑heart studies and guide optimal imaging during device implantation.
• Analyze, summarize and present baseline, procedural and follow‑up imaging (CT, echo, MRI, angiography) to inform product development and event investigations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to define patient‑selection criteria and screening protocols.
• Train field support teams and hospital staff on cardiac imaging procedures and oversee third‑party image analyses.
• Travel up to 50% of the time to meet territory needs and perform other incidental duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as clinical physiology or echocardiography (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical‑device or clinical imaging roles.
• Fluent in French and professional English.
• Relevant imaging certification (internal or industry).
• Proven experience as a clinical imaging specialist/echocardiographer with TEE expertise.

Required skills

• Proficiency with imaging analysis software (3Mensio, TomTec, Vitrea, Circle VI).
• Hands‑on experience with TEE, CT, MRI, angiography and echocardiography.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication abilities.
