Field Clinical Specialist, Imaging (m,f,d), Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies

About the role

The Field Clinical Specialist – Imaging will lead imaging, integration and troubleshooting activities for transcatheter mitral and tricuspid therapies. You will provide on‑site education, training and intra‑procedural imaging support to physicians and hospital teams, ensuring optimal imaging during device implantation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead imaging, equipment, software and tool integration for clinical use, including intra‑operative case coverage.
• Coordinate and deliver one‑on‑one ad‑hoc training sessions and structured education programs in the cath lab.
• Provide intraprocedural imaging support during beating‑heart studies and guide optimal image acquisition.
• Analyze, summarize and present baseline, procedural and follow‑up imaging (CT, echo, MRI, angiography) to support product development and event investigations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop imaging patient‑selection criteria and screening protocols.
• Train field support teams and hospital staff on cardiac imaging procedures and best practices.
• Offer on‑site cardiac imaging guidance during clinical procedures and oversee third‑party image analysis for case assessment.
• Perform other incidental duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field such as clinical physiology or echocardiography.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical‑device or clinical imaging roles.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Fluent in French and professional English.
• Ability to travel up to 50 % of the time.
• Relevant internal or industry imaging certification.
• Proven experience as a clinical imaging specialist/echocardiographer with TEE expertise.

Required skills

• Proficiency with imaging analysis software such as 3Mensio, TomTec, Vitrea and Circle VI.
• Expertise in transesophageal echocardiography (TEE).
