Field Clinical Specialist – Transcatheter Tricuspid Therapies

About the role

The Field Clinical Specialist will support Edwards Lifesciences' Transcatheter Tricuspid Therapies portfolio by delivering clinical education, certification, and technical support to hospitals, physicians, and internal teams. This role combines hands‑on training, product expertise, and strategic account development.

Key responsibilities

• Certify centers, physicians, and staff according to Edwards Lifesciences SOPs.
• Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and proctors to promote best practices.
• Provide comprehensive education on device handling, implantation, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and continuously improve training curricula, materials, and tools based on trial experience and company guidelines.
• Conduct one‑on‑one and structured in‑service training sessions for physicians and hospital personnel.
• Offer post‑procedure follow‑up support to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Mentor new Field Clinical Specialists and support their onboarding.
• Collaborate with Business Managers on upselling and growth strategies within strategic accounts.
• Validate software and hardware updates in the field.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and clinical support activities alongside sales teams.
• Perform other incidental duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical devices or related clinical roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proven training experience in a clinical or technical environment.
• Knowledge of interventional cardiology, especially implantable devices or imaging, is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Fluent in French and professional English.

• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
