Field Clinical Specialist – Rhône-Alpes, France

About the role

The Field Clinical Specialist will support Edwards Lifesciences' Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) business in the Rhône‑Alps region. You will develop and deliver clinical education, certify centers and physicians, and ensure smooth implementation of our TAVR devices.

Key responsibilities

• Certify hospitals, physicians and staff according to Edwards Lifesciences SOPs.
• Interact with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and proctors to promote best practices.
• Provide comprehensive education on device handling, implantation and troubleshooting.
• Develop, update and improve training curricula, materials and tools based on clinical trial experience.
• Conduct one‑on‑one and structured in‑service training sessions for physicians and hospital personnel.
• Offer post‑procedure follow‑up support to ensure continuity of care and technical assistance.
• Collaborate with Sales and Business Managers to plan growth strategies and upsell in strategic accounts.
• Validate software and hardware updates in the field as needed.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity and clinical support activities with sales teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in medical devices or clinical environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Training experience in a clinical or technical setting.
• Experience in interventional cardiology or related areas (structural heart, coronary) is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 40 % of the time.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment.
