Senior Legal Corporate Counsel – Fixed-term (6 months)

About the role

You will join the Legal team on a fixed‑term contract covering maternity leave, supporting Betclic Group’s corporate governance and strategic development across France and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate affairs of the Group’s entities, including annual accounts, board and shareholders’ meetings, related‑party transactions, bylaw amendments and beneficial ownership filings.
• Implement and monitor powers of attorney and delegation of authority frameworks.
• Participate in Group restructuring and reorganization projects.
• Provide legal support to shareholders, Finance teams and other stakeholders on corporate operations.
• Oversee KYC processes, insurance programs, trademark portfolio and intellectual property matters.
• Maintain corporate reporting tools and monitor legal and regulatory developments.

Required profile

• Advanced legal degree (Master 2 in Business Law, Corporate Law, DJCE or equivalent).
• At least 10 years of experience in corporate law, preferably in an international group or law firm.
• Fluent in French and English with strong judgment, autonomy and proactive mindset.
• Highly organized, rigorous and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Required skills

• Expertise in corporate law and corporate governance.
• Understanding of group reorganizations and international corporate management.
• Knowledge of intellectual property and compliance/anti‑bribery matters (appreciated).
