Head of Corporate (Fixed‑term, 6 months)

About the role

Join Betclic’s Legal team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract covering maternity leave. You will support the Group’s corporate governance and strategic development, working closely with Finance, shareholders, external advisors and senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate affairs of the Group’s entities in France and internationally, including annual accounts, board and shareholders’ meetings, related‑party transactions, bylaw amendments and beneficial‑ownership filings.
• Implement and monitor powers of attorney, delegation of authority frameworks, and participate in Group restructuring projects.
• Provide legal support to shareholders, Finance teams and other stakeholders on corporate operations and finance‑related documentation.
• Oversee KYC processes, insurance programmes, trademark portfolio, internal agreements and anti‑corruption compliance updates.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments in corporate law and report regularly to management.

Required profile

• Advanced legal degree (Master 2 in Business Law, Corporate Law, DJCE or equivalent).
• At least 10 years of experience in corporate law within an international group, law firm or a combination of both.
• Strong expertise in corporate governance, group reorganisations and international company management.
• Fluent in French and English, with sound judgment, autonomy and a proactive mindset.
• Highly organised, rigorous and detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
