Senior Legal Corporate Counsel – Fixed‑term 6 months

About the role

You will join Betclic’s Legal team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract covering maternity leave. The position supports corporate governance and strategic development across the Group’s entities in France and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate affairs of the Group’s entities, including annual accounts, board and shareholders’ meetings, related‑party transactions, bylaw amendments and beneficial‑ownership filings.
• Implement and monitor powers of attorney and delegation‑of‑authority frameworks.
• Participate in restructuring and reorganisation projects and provide legal support to shareholders, finance teams and other stakeholders.
• Oversee KYC processes, insurance programmes, trademark portfolio and intellectual‑property matters.
• Maintain corporate reporting tools, monitor regulatory developments and liaise with external counsel, notaries and auditors.

Required profile

• Advanced legal degree (Master 2 in Business Law, Corporate Law, DJCE or equivalent).
• At least 10 years of experience in corporate law, preferably in an international group or law firm.
• Fluent in French and English, with strong judgment, autonomy and proactive mindset.
• Highly organised, rigorous and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in corporate law and corporate governance.
• Knowledge of intellectual‑property law, compliance and anti‑bribery matters.
• Experience with KYC processes and intra‑group contracts.
