Legal & Compliance Intern – Consumer Litigation

About the role

Join Betclic's France Compliance team as a Legal & Compliance Intern, supporting the management of consumer litigation and mediation cases within the French gambling regulatory framework.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in handling mediation cases with the French Gambling Ombudsman.
• Support litigation management in coordination with Betclic's legal counsel.
• Monitor regulatory and case law developments affecting the gambling industry.
• Prepare legal analyses and briefing notes on various legal issues.

Required profile

• Currently in the second year of a Master's degree, French Bar School, or IEJ.
• At least 6 months of experience in consumer law or litigation through an internship or work‑study program.
• Strong organisational skills, curiosity, and motivation to thrive in a collaborative, dynamic, international environment.
• Interest in gambling or sports and fluent English.

Required skills

• Legal research and analysis.
• Drafting briefing notes and legal documents.
