Frontend Engineer

About the role

Spiko, founded in 2023, provides institutional-grade cash management to SMEs, non-profits, financial advisers and fintechs, via app or API. It is looking for a Frontend Engineer to join its engineering team in Paris. You will own the architecture of the customer-facing web application and the landing page, set frontend standards and ship UIs together with designers and full-stack engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Web app: own the architecture of the customer-facing web application (Next.js, React, Tailwind, Shadcn); define and enforce frontend standards on code quality, accessibility, performance and testing; build complex, data-rich UIs with the design team; improve developer experience through tooling and CI/CD; set up AI tooling for frontend development.
• Landing page: own the technical setup of the marketing landing page so the marketing team can iterate safely; this is expected to take about 25% of the role.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a frontend or full-stack engineer, with deep expertise in React and Next.js.
• Strong TypeScript fundamentals and a high bar for code quality, accessibility and performance.
• Experience defining frontend architecture, standards and tooling in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong product and design sensibility, comfort in an English-speaking environment, and a curious, pragmatic attitude.
• Nice to have: AI-assisted development workflows, Tailwind/Effect/NX monorepos, fintech or regulated-environment experience, and some React Native.
