Project Management Officer – UpNext Demonstrator

About the role

Join Airbus UpNext’s strategic flight demonstrator programme aimed at improving operational efficiency and advancing safety standards. As the Project Management Officer you will support the Head of Demonstrator in delivering the project on time, within budget and to the required quality, while working in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment in Toulouse.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project performance against Time, Cost and Quality targets, track financial forecasts and produce regular reports.
• Maintain the master schedule, ensuring progress towards key milestones such as PDR, CDR, DPPS, EIS and final review.
• Manage tendering processes, contract negotiations and supply‑chain logistics, including IP protection clauses.
• Prepare governance meeting materials, run Stop‑&‑Go reviews and maintain the risk‑and‑opportunity register.
• Coordinate stakeholder communication and support alignment across the multi‑functional project team.
• Collect and document project learnings, operational procedures and hand‑over materials for the final facility transfer.

Required profile

• Proven senior project‑management experience with strong budget and schedule control.
• Solid financial acumen and hands‑on experience in contract management, tendering and supplier relations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage risks, opportunities and stakeholder communications.
• Agile, proactive mindset able to thrive in a demanding, startup‑like environment.
• Excellent English communication skills and a collaborative, team‑player attitude.
