Project Manager – Technical Projects (Toulouse, France)

About the role

Simera Sense, a leading provider of Earth‑observation camera solutions for the small‑satellite market, is looking for a strategic and experienced Project Manager to lead cross‑functional technical initiatives. You will be responsible for planning, executing and delivering key projects that support the company’s growth in the space industry.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical liaison between project management, engineering and operations, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer and documentation.
• Lead coordination of technical support activities, translating requirements into actionable plans aligned with project milestones.
• Oversee maintenance and performance of mission‑critical systems such as ground stations, telemetry and integration labs, including upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Identify, escalate and mitigate technical risks and issues, maintaining a detailed issue log.
• Ensure compliance with SANSA regulations, ECSS standards and internal quality frameworks.
• Provide regular status updates, risk reports and post‑mission reviews to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing technical projects in engineering, aerospace or systems integration.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and deliver complex solutions on time and within budget.
• Experience in space engineering, satellite systems or ground‑station operations is highly valued.
• Familiarity with regulated environments (SANSA, ISO, ECSS) and strong documentation skills.
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is advantageous.
