Deputy Head of FAL Coordination

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Deputy Head of Final Assembly Line (FAL) Coordination to support the A350 Coordination Plants & Suppliers team in Toulouse. The role provides daily operational support, manages resources, and drives continuous improvement to ensure on‑time, high‑quality aircraft deliveries during the production ramp‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational support to achieve SQCDP objectives, manage resources and lead cross‑functional workshops.
• Lead the Ramp‑Up Work Package, coordinating supplier on‑site needs such as facilities, workspaces and industrial assets.
• Manage priority Outstanding Work (OSW) topics across internal and external stakeholders and oversee Quality Gate milestones.
• Drive Lean and Airbus Operating System (AOS) continuous‑improvement projects, including digital/AI integration and reporting tool optimisation.
• Facilitate best‑practice sharing and communication between Coordination Units and Production Groups.

Required profile

• Engineering, Aeronautics or Supply Chain background with operational field experience in a FAL environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of Airbus industrial ecosystem, FAL operations and A350 manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in project‑management methodologies, Lean principles and Airbus Operating System (AOS) frameworks.
• Proven ability to manage complex multi‑stakeholder interfaces (plants, suppliers, quality, production).
• Fluent in French and English (minimum C1 level).
