Supply Chain Quality Specialist Leader – Forging, Casting & ALM

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Supply Chain Quality Leader to join its Supply Chain Quality department in Toulouse, France. You will work within a team that secures critical components for aircraft programmes, focusing on forging, casting and Additive Layer Manufacturing (ALM). The role ensures the highest quality standards for Airbus's most important parts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit processes for suppliers of metal forging, various casting methods (die, sand, mold) and ALM, ensuring compliance with Airbus quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Plan, execute, report and follow‑up on audits to drive continuous improvement in supplier quality performance.
• Develop and implement quality management strategies tailored to forging, casting and ALM suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, procurement and manufacturing teams to define and communicate quality requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and initiate corrective actions when needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in audit management and processing within a complex manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Extensive knowledge of metal forming and casting techniques, including die casting, metal casting, metal forging, mold casting and sand casting.
• Expertise in quality management systems such as AS/EN 9100 and ISO 9001.
• Strong understanding of Additive Layer Manufacturing processes and related quality considerations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Quality Management or a related technical field; fluency in English (French a plus).
