Technical Sales Manager / Business Developer – France (Hybrid)

About the role

A company, part of an international group supplying specialised equipment and products to industries such as marine, aerospace, medical and agriculture, is looking for a Responsable Technico-Commercial / Business Developer based in Paris. The role is hybrid (one day a week in the office) and suits people commuting from the west of Paris or from cities such as Rambouillet, Mantes-la-Jolie and Dreux; relocation is possible from several other French cities and London. The position drives regional business growth by developing new accounts, strengthening existing relationships and delivering tailored technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and secure new business opportunities across the assigned region in France
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
• Promote a product portfolio of motion control and spring-based technologies
• Manage sales pipelines, pricing, forecasting and margin performance within the territory
• Work with internal teams on strategic account plans and cross-selling opportunities
• Share market intelligence on competitors and customer trends
• Maintain accurate reporting and activity records in the company's CRM systems
• Travel regularly within France to meet clients, with occasional trips to other European countries

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical) or equivalent professional experience
• Senior B2B sales experience with a background in technical or industrial sales
• Proven track record of winning new business and developing strategic customer relationships
• Data-driven approach with strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills
• Fluent French and English, written and spoken
• Self-motivated and commercially focused, willing to travel regularly within France and occasionally in Europe
