Sales Planning & Strategy

About the role

Alan, a prevention insurance company integrating insurance, prevention and care, is hiring a Sales Planning & Strategy professional for its Business Strategy & Operations (BSO) team. The role covers business planning, sales and account management planning, performance monitoring and steering, and works closely with senior leadership, Sales, Account Management and Go-to-Market teams. The scope is global (France, Belgium, Spain and Canada).

Key responsibilities

• Work with senior business leaders to define the business plan and frame resource allocation decisions, proposing quarterly adjustments and supporting Board preparation.
• Translate the plan into actionable sales and account management objectives, and build and improve tracking dashboards and models with the data team.
• Monitor results and execution, share learnings monthly, and lead or support strategic explorations such as new segments or distribution models.
• Work on cross-cutting topics such as competition analysis and pricing strategy implementation and monitoring.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in business strategy, sales strategy and operations, revenue operations, or business/strategic finance in a B2B company (preferred), or in management consulting, investment banking or private equity.
• Fluent English; French is a strong plus.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Paris area or Barcelona.
• Nice to have: experience with BI and visualization tools (Metabase, Tableau) and Salesforce, SaaS/Tech sector experience, and exposure to large sales teams (100+).

Required skills

• Great Excel skills and moderate SQL knowledge.
• Experience with AI tools and building moderate to complex flows.
• Comfort with B2B operational and financial metrics.
