Study Monitor – Clinical Trials (France)

About the role

Clinaxel, part of a global Animal Health CRO group, is looking for a Study Monitor based in France to join its expanding Field Clinical Trials team. The role ensures that clinical trials are conducted in line with study protocols, VICH GL9 GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine site monitoring visits across all trial phases to verify compliance with protocols, GCP guidelines, and regulations.
• Validate the accuracy and completeness of data collected at study sites, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned study sites and investigators, facilitating communication and addressing issues.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing monitoring reports, site records, and other study documentation.
• Ensure sites adhere to timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
• Document and escalate risks or issues that could affect study timelines or data quality.
• Monitor scientific and regulatory developments to keep trial practices up‑to‑date.
• Provide guidance to site staff on protocol compliance and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant Life Sciences field.
• Minimum two years of GCP study monitoring experience in Animal Health or Human Pharma.
• Familiarity with VICH GL9 GCP guidelines and their application in clinical trials.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Strong organizational skills to manage tasks and meet timelines.
