Student Advisor – Ecole Supérieure de Design de Troyes

About the role

Global University Systems (GUS) is recruiting a Student Advisor for its Ecole Supérieure de Design programme in Troyes. The role manages the student pipeline from initial enquiry and application through enrolment and payment of tuition fees, supporting domestic and international students. It is a hybrid position with minimal day-to-day supervision, and the holder works independently within established procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the programme portfolio to prospective students by phone, email and online meetings, often making 70+ calls per day.
• Guide students through the full application journey, from enquiry to application completion, offer conversion and enrolment.
• Match students' career aspirations to relevant programmes and advise international students on visa, immigration and compliance requirements where applicable.
• Provide tailored consultations, build strong relationships with prospects and keep applicants engaged.
• Maintain CRM systems accurately and identify new business opportunities.
• Contribute to improving recruitment processes and student conversion strategies.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of exposure to the higher education industry.
• 2+ years of full-time sales experience in a closing sales role, with 1+ year in complex sales cycles.
• 2+ years of track record meeting revenue targets and quotas.
• 2+ years managing an accurate pipeline and reporting from a CRM.
• Good English skills preferred; prior education or e-learning experience, a related degree and team leadership experience are preferred.
