Strategic Buyer – Communication Services

About the role

Airbus is looking for a Strategic Buyer to lead end‑to‑end procurement of Events Solutions and communication services across its global operations. The role is based in Toulouse and works within the Communication and Travel Solutions team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement global sourcing frameworks and contractual setups for the Events & Communications portfolio.
• Lead high‑value negotiations, supplier selection and manage the full lifecycle of complex frame contracts.
• Provide market intelligence, optimise total cost of ownership and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Communications, HR, Digital, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain Quality) to align internal needs with supplier capabilities.

Required profile

• 5–10+ years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing or complex commercial sales.
• Proven track record in contract management, strategic sourcing and high‑value negotiations.
• Strong stakeholder management, conflict resolution and leadership skills.
• Commitment to ethics, compliance and Airbus values.
• Business fluency in English; French, German, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
