Sous-chef (Second(e) de Cuisine) – Senior Residence

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sous‑chef (Second(e) de Cuisine) to join our kitchen team serving a senior residence. You will work in a lively restaurant‑style environment, preparing meals for 90 lunch covers and 30 dinner covers while ensuring a warm, convivial atmosphere for our residents.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold dishes in line with quality standards.
• Serve residents, respond to their needs, and ensure daily satisfaction.
• Maintain a close relationship with residents by being present in the dining room.
• Assist the head chef in organizing production and managing the kitchen team.
• Control food costs, handle material usage efficiently, and support inventory management.
• Participate in monthly stock inventories and follow up on supplies.
• Guarantee compliance with hygiene, quality, and food‑safety regulations (HACCP).

Required profile

• CAP or Bac Pro in culinary arts.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a comparable kitchen position.
• Team‑oriented, dynamic, and creative in the kitchen.

What we offer

• Permanent contract (CDI) – 35 hours/week.
• Work schedule: Monday‑Friday plus one weekend out of two (7 am‑3 pm).
