Senior People Ops Manager (International)

About the role

Photoroom is seeking a Senior People Operations Manager to own and improve the operational foundations of its People function across all markets. You will be responsible for payroll, HRIS, contracts, compliance, benefits, immigration, and data, while driving automation and self‑service solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Run monthly payroll for France and Europe and twice‑monthly payroll for the US, managing external providers.
• Maintain French statutory obligations, compliance calendars, and oversee CSE administration.
• Manage employment contracts, offer letters, and HR documentation, ensuring up‑to‑date templates.
• Oversee employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, off‑boarding, promotions, and leaves.
• Administer benefits across France, Europe, and the US and support compensation benchmarking.
• Own HRIS (Hibob) configuration, data quality, integrations, and drive automation of repetitive workflows.
• Build self‑service documentation, playbooks, and processes to reduce manual support requests.

Required profile

• Proven experience owning People Operations scope in a fast‑growing company of 100+ employees.
• Hands‑on experience with French payroll and employment compliance.
• Fluent in French and English, based in Paris and able to work onsite at least three days per week.
• Strong operational judgement, high accuracy, and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• HRIS expertise, preferably with Hibob.
• Automation and workflow tooling experience.
