Senior Corporate Legal Counsel

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Corporate Legal Counsel to join the corporate legal team of Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility in Massy, France. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Legal, you will support both French and international strategic projects across the mobility, housing and consumer credit sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on and structure strategic corporate transactions such as partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions and divestments.
• Manage contract‑related projects, including procurement, security and IT services agreements.
• Support financial activities, notably securitisation, assignment of receivables and deposit collection.
• Monitor key legal risks, oversee litigation matters and centralise risk reporting for the group.
• Collaborate with legal teams across Crédit Agricole entities to harmonise contractual practices, provide standard clauses and disseminate procedures.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in corporate law, with a strong background in securitisation, assignment of receivables and contract law.
• Experience in the automotive/mobility sector is a significant advantage.
• Knowledge of competition law is beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, organise complex matters and communicate effectively with international stakeholders.

Required skills

• Expertise in corporate transactions and contract drafting.
• Strong understanding of securitisation and receivable assignment mechanisms.
• Familiarity with competition law principles.
