Quality Engineering Manager - Venus Deep Offshore Project

About the role

TotalEnergies is looking for a Quality Engineering Manager to support the Project H3SEQ Manager in implementing the Project Quality Management System (QMS) for the Venus deep offshore project, covering activities led by the project and those provided by its contractors. The service is highly transverse, with around 10 to 30 internal people and about 30 external contractors and TEEPNA affiliates. The role starts in October 2026 (subject to FID) and lasts at least 1.5 years, up to 5 years, based in France (Paris or Pau).

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain a robust QMS, including procedures, dashboards and reporting tools, in coordination with Venus Managers and Package Quality leads.
• Manage transverse QA/QC processes and tools such as NCR and Third Party Inspections (TPI).
• Coordinate quality activities across all packages (SURF, SPS, FPSO, O&M, D&W and Offloading) and drive performance improvement through process mapping, KPIs and continuous improvement.
• Implement HSE rules and requirements within the area of responsibility and integrate them into the quality management process.
• Organise periodic quality review meetings with the packages, identify, log, track and close out quality matters, and contribute to the close-out report and lessons learned.
• Promote a performance culture, LEAN initiatives and an integrated team approach across packages.

Required profile

• Confirmed Quality Engineer or equivalent with at least 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects, including offshore experience.
• Good knowledge of TotalEnergies procedures and policies; previous experience on a similar project preferred.
• Effective communication, negotiation and transversal influence, with autonomous, rigorous work.

Required skills

• Mandatory advanced skills in Excel, Power Query, Power BI, Power Apps and Visio.
• Process mapping, Lean/continuous improvement, root cause analysis and KPI management (Lean Green Belt or more is a plus).
