FPSO HSE Manager

About the role

TotalEnergies is looking for an HSE Manager for the Venus FPSO project, covering security, safety, societal and environmental matters across the Engineering, Procurement, Supply, Construction and Commissioning phases. The role is based in Paris for 1 year, then 18 to 24 months in Singapore and 18 months in Geoje, South Korea, with frequent missions aboard; it starts in October 2026, subject to FID, and lasts 1 to 4 years after the FPSO contract award.

Key responsibilities

• Promote H3SE in the project, propose H3SE objectives to the Package Manager and advise the Project Management and Project team
• Define and review H3SE management systems (philosophy, plans and procedures) and ensure safety reviews meet project targets
• Coordinate H3SE activities within the FPSO package, liaising with the Package Manager and H3SE/Safety leaders and engineers
• Develop the Safety Concept for the package and define H3SE training plans for each phase of EPSCC
• Organize H3SE risk management reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, SPOT) and update the risk register
• Manage H3SE studies and the TRA study, and audit contractors' H3SE systems on site
• Collect and analyse H3SE statistics and incident data, ensure corrective actions are implemented and gather lessons learned
• Support commissioning and start-up procedures, validate bridging documents for offshore works and follow up permits and licenses

Required profile

• 10 to 20 years of professional experience, including 10 years at the same or equivalent level with managerial responsibilities
• Engineer degree or equivalent
• English mandatory
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural project environment
