Operations Consultant – Performance Transformation, Paris

About the role

Oliver Wyman's Operations team, part of the Performance Transformation practice, helps clients shape the future of their operations so they can achieve strategic goals and deliver sustainable, industry-leading performance. The team works on four pillars: Value Sourcing/Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Process Operations, and Digital Operations. The Associate / Engagement Manager role breaks complex problems into discrete tasks, directs junior consultants, plans and executes analysis and crafts recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Break down complex problems into discrete tasks and direct the focus of junior consultants
• Plan and execute analysis and identify core issues in complex analyses to craft suitable recommendations
• Work side by side with clients and project team members to move projects forward
• Manage small teams and deliver insights on the chosen subject area

Required profile

• At least 4-8 years of relevant experience, ideally from a top-tier strategy consulting firm, a strategy department or in-house consulting
• In-depth knowledge of the sector, gained through industry experience or other consultancy houses
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
• Fluency in English and French is required
• Willingness to travel and to work at least three days per week in the office or with clients
