Aerospace & Defense Associate / Engagement Manager

About the role

Oliver Wyman, a global management consulting firm of Marsh McLennan, is recruiting an Associate / Engagement Manager for its Aerospace & Defense practice in Paris. The role is aimed at experienced professionals and serves as the main contact for senior client executives and the consultants assigned to client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the execution of individual project modules, including developing hypotheses, collecting data, building models and analyses, and carrying out primary and secondary research
• Support the Partner group in project delivery through accurate, high-quality case execution
• Own and develop executive client relationships, present to a wide range of audiences and work day-to-day with clients and stakeholders
• Coach consultants and help them develop their skills

Required profile

• 5-8 years of experience in strategy consulting and/or in aviation, aerospace, rail and transport industries
• Strong conceptual problem-solving ability and aptitude for analytical work
• Proven track record of leading and managing teams and meeting tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
• Outstanding communication skills and confidence presenting to senior executives
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
• Willingness to travel
