Medical‑psychological aide / Educational and Social Companion

About the role

The EPMS Marie du Merle d'Orbec is seeking a dedicated Medical‑Psychological Aide / Educational and Social Companion to support residents in the FAM (short‑stay) unit of its 115‑bed medical‑social establishment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities while respecting quality‑care protocols.
• Plan, organize, and lead recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Promote residents' well‑being, autonomy, and social interaction.
• Accompany residents on outings using the facility’s minibuses or cars, requiring a valid driving licence (Category B).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary health professionals under the supervision of the health manager.

Required profile

• Holder of the BEJPS or DE AMP/AES qualification.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Dynamic, rigorous, able to work independently or within a team.
• Strong relational, listening, and adaptability skills.
• Experience or solid knowledge of caring for dependent elderly persons.

Required skills

• Knowledge of protocols for elderly care and quality‑assurance processes.
• Ability to organize and animate group activities.
