Legal Counsel – IT & Business Affairs

About the role

Join Betclic’s Legal team as a Legal Counsel focused on IT and Business Affairs. You will oversee contractual and regulatory matters across the company’s diverse gaming and technology operations, ensuring compliance and supporting strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial, partnership, and IT contracts (SaaS, cloud, licensing, service agreements).
• Monitor contract execution in collaboration with operational departments such as Sport, Gaming, Payment, Customer Experience, and IT.
• Provide legal support for group projects and advise internal teams on legal issues.
• Assist in managing digital initiatives and track relevant legislative and regulatory developments.
• Coordinate with external counsel on pre‑litigation matters.
• Deliver training and raise awareness of legal and regulatory constraints within the organization.

Required profile

• Advanced legal degree (Master’s or equivalent) with a specialization in business/contract law.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an international, preferably digital or IT, environment.
• Strong expertise in contract and commercial law, including negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
