Junior Area Sales Manager

About the role

The Junior Area Sales Manager will drive the growth of Parfums de Marly’s fragrance distribution across selected European markets. You will be responsible for building the brand’s presence, achieving sales targets, and positioning the company as the leading niche fragrance brand in Europe over the next three years.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the assigned territory, aligning with sales targets and brand elevation goals.
• Create a comprehensive business plan covering retail and wholesale forecasts, assortment, CAPEX projects, trade plans, and advertising & promotion budgets.
• Monitor KPIs with the Brand Manager, including market share, sell‑in/sell‑out, competition activity, and market trends.
• Negotiate trade terms and pricing with distributors and retailers, securing optimal shelf exposure and floor‑plan locations.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Brand Managers to design and implement trade‑marketing actions, launches, animations, and incentives at point of sale.
• Develop a detailed retail network plan to improve brand visibility and ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
• Lead training initiatives for sales teams, motivate business assistants, and provide accurate sales and stock forecasts.
• Prepare monthly sales reports covering retail, wholesale, client, location, category, and reference performance.

Required profile

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
• Fluency in French is essential.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑growing, entrepreneurial environment.
• Master’s degree from a reputable business school.
• 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably with exposure to area or territory management.
