Freelance Lecturer – Computer Science & Informatics

About the role

The Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics at BSBI Paris is seeking a freelance lecturer to deliver teaching and assessment activities for undergraduate and graduate modules. The role involves designing course material, supervising dissertations and contributing to the academic community on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct lectures, tutorials and examinations in accordance with university regulations.
• Design and develop instructional materials and curricula for assigned modules.
• Create, schedule and grade examinations and other assessment instruments, ensuring timely submission.
• Supervise student dissertations, providing guidance and evaluation.
• Participate in teaching evaluations and maintain academic records.

Required profile

• PhD or PhD candidate with strong theoretical and practical knowledge in at least two of the listed technical areas.
• Prior teaching experience at university level.
• Fluent spoken and written English (C2); knowledge of French is desirable.
• Scientific publications in a related discipline.
• Proficiency with Windows OS, MS Office suite and Microsoft Teams.
