Freelance Lecturer – Business Faculty (Paris)

About the role

We are looking for a freelance lecturer to join the Business Faculty at BSBI Paris. The role involves delivering assigned academic modules, assessing student work, and supporting curriculum development in a dynamic, international business school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned business modules according to the curriculum and prepare lesson plans.
• Administer, proctor, and mark assignments, exams, and dissertations.
• Update or design new curricula, syllabi, and teaching materials as needed.
• Provide consultation, mentoring, and private instruction to improve student performance.
• Maintain accurate records of student assessments and progress while ensuring confidentiality.
• Develop and recommend textbooks, software, and other learning resources.

Required profile

• PhD or DBA (MBA or Master’s acceptable in specific cases).
• Prior teaching experience at university level.
• Fluent English (C2); French knowledge desirable.
• Scientific publications in a related discipline.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Resilient, flexible, and motivated for further academic development.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows OS.
• Advanced use of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Microsoft Teams.
• Familiarity with educational platforms such as Canvas or Blackboard.
• Working knowledge of timetabling software.
