Freelance Lecturer – Tourism, Hospitality & Event Management

About the role

The Berlin School of Business and Innovation (BSBI) seeks a Freelance Lecturer to deliver and develop courses in Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management on its Paris campus. You will act as the primary academic contact for assigned modules, guiding students through teaching, research supervision and project work.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned academic modules and, when required, design or amend curricula.
• Mentor and supervise students on dissertations, projects and internships, providing regular feedback.
• Create learning materials, including presentations and assessment resources.
• Participate in faculty activities, promote the school, and contribute to academic leadership.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent qualification with strong theoretical and practical knowledge in the relevant domain.
• Fluent spoken and written English (C2 level) with excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Prior higher‑education teaching experience or professional expertise in the field is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows operating system.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with educational platforms such as Canvas or Blackboard.
