Freelance Journal Selection & Pre‑Submission Peer Reviewer

About the role

We are looking for experienced researchers and journal editors to join us on a freelance basis as Journal Selection and Pre‑Submission Peer Reviewers. You will evaluate manuscripts, provide constructive feedback, and determine their readiness for publication.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver peer‑review‑style comments on assigned manuscripts.
• Identify areas for improvement and assess overall quality.
• Prepare a detailed assessment report with recommendations.
• Submit all deliverables within the agreed deadlines.

Required profile

• Prior experience as an invited peer reviewer for a journal or as a journal editor (mandatory).
• At least 10 published manuscripts as author or co‑author (mandatory).
• PhD or MD in a relevant discipline such as Surgery, Education, Ophthalmology, Clinical Oncology, Theoretical Physics, Theology, Philosophy, Musculoskeletal Medicine, Reproductive Medicine, Pediatrics, Sociology, Linguistics, Design, Anesthesiology, etc. (mandatory).
