FinCrime Analyst (Screening) – English and French

About the role

Revolut is seeking a bilingual FinCrime Analyst to join its compliance team. You will focus on screening activities, reviewing sanctions and politically exposed person (PEP) alerts, and ensuring the integrity of our transaction monitoring processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review sanctions watchlist alerts generated by automated filtering, customer screening systems, manual reports, or internal referrals.
• Escalate potential sanctions issues or suspicious activity to the Head of Compliance or Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
• Investigate PEP screening alerts using customer screening, due‑diligence systems, and third‑party sources.
• Assist in validating sanctions and PEP alert systems and participate in testing new releases or updates.
• Respond to and remediate issues identified by the Quality Control team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Fluency in English and French.
• 2+ years of FinCrime experience or 1+ year of screening experience.
• Knowledge of alert matching and discounting rules.
• Basic understanding of key FinCrime risk categories (PEP, sanctions, adverse media).
• Familiarity with investigative methodologies using analytical tools.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Strong critical‑thinking, attention to detail, and ability to multitask under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets (e.g., Excel) for data analysis, filters, pivots, and network charts.
