Field Clinical Specialist – Transcatheter Heart Valve (South‑East France)

About the role

The Field Clinical Specialist will support Edwards Lifesciences' Transcatheter Heart Valve (THV) business across the South‑East region of France. You will develop and deliver clinical education, certify centres and physicians, and ensure optimal use of THV devices throughout clinical investigations and commercial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Certify hospitals, physicians and staff according to Edwards Lifesciences SOPs.
• Interact with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and proctors to provide device education and troubleshooting.
• Design, update and deliver training curricula, materials and tools based on trial experience and company guidelines.
• Educate physicians, hospital personnel and staff through one‑on‑one sessions and structured in‑service programs.
• Provide post‑procedure follow‑up support to ensure continuity of education and optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with Sales and Business Managers to plan growth strategies and upsell in strategic accounts.
• Validate software and hardware updates in the field as required.
• Monitor market, clinical support activities and competitive landscape with the sales team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in medical devices or clinical environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Training experience in a clinical or technical setting.
• Experience in interventional cardiology or related structural heart specialties is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 40 % of the time.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
