Field Clinical Specialist – Mitral Therapies

About the role

The Field Clinical Specialist will support the Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies business unit by developing and delivering clinical education, ensuring proper certification of centers and staff, and providing technical expertise throughout clinical investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Certify centers, physicians and related staff according to EW SOPs.
• Interact with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and proctors to disseminate device knowledge.
• Provide education on device handling, implantation, troubleshooting and related equipment.
• Develop, update and improve training curricula, materials and tools based on trial experience.
• Conduct one‑on‑one and structured in‑service training sessions for physicians and hospital personnel.
• Offer post‑procedure follow‑up support to ensure continuity of education and optimal patient outcomes.
• Plan and execute growth strategies in strategic accounts together with sales teams, including upselling.
• Validate software and hardware updates in the field as required.
• Monitor clinical support activities, market changes and competitive activity.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in medical devices or related clinical settings (e.g., CathLab Nurse).
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Training experience in a clinical or technical environment.
• Strong background in interventional cardiology or related structural heart areas preferred.
• High flexibility with frequent regional travel.
• Professional fluency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
