Process Performance Engineer – FAL A350

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Process Performance Engineer for the Final Assembly Line (FAL) of the A350. You will join the A350 Green Operational Performance team in Toulouse, focusing on process performance engineering and line balancing to ensure on‑time delivery with optimal resource use.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain Gantt charts and Standard Line Balancing (SLB) models to define the best industrial sequence during the definition phase.
• Monitor line efficiency, enable execution of the industrial sequence, and drive continuous improvement of manufacturing efficiency.
• Analyse shop‑floor performance, identify white and red spaces, and conduct Value‑Added (VA/NVA) observations.
• Translate industrial requirements to Design and Supply Chain, evaluating the impact of modifications.
• Maintain the Standard Time Value (STV) database, define digital tools, and coach end‑users on STV/SLB usage.

Required profile

• Professional experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Process Performance.
• Strong knowledge of Line Balancing drivers, constraints, and time referentials.
• Proficiency in maintaining the STV database and checking compliance against golden rules.
