Principal Business Operations Analyst I - Procure-to-Pay

About the role

SBS is looking for an experienced Business Analyst focused on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) to join its Finance Technology team. You will act as a business partner to Procurement, Finance and other stakeholders, helping transform, standardize and continuously improve end-to-end P2P processes and the supporting systems. The role spans sourcing, contract lifecycle management, requisitions, purchase orders, supplier invoicing, expenses, approvals, accruals and payment readiness, across Workday Financials, Workday Procurement, Concur and CLM.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a business partner for P2P: map current and target state processes, define ownership and hand-offs, and recommend simplified, standardized and automated solutions.
• Lead functional analysis from business problem to solution, defining business rules, requirements, controls and acceptance criteria, and validating solutions with IS architects and integration teams.
• Own the end-to-end P2P systems perspective, covering the flow from CLM to Workday Procurement, Concur and Workday Financials, and define functional requirements for integrations and data flows.
• Act as functional lead for P2P initiatives, coordinate activities across Procurement, Finance, Legal, Business and IS, and contribute to project planning and roadmaps.
• Define test strategies, develop test cases, coordinate UAT with key users, analyze defects and validate that delivered solutions meet business outcomes.
• Support adoption: write process and user documentation, deliver training, communicate changes and support users during deployment and stabilization.
• Monitor P2P effectiveness after implementation, propose improvements and help set KPIs for efficiency, compliance, spend control and quality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, Procurement or Finance Transformation Consultant, ERP Consultant or similar.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes and experience on Procurement, Finance or ERP transformation projects.
• Proven experience bridging Business/Procurement/Finance and IT.
• Strong experience in process analysis, process design and requirements management.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Workday Procurement, Concur or CLM is a strong advantage; experience on other ERP or enterprise platforms is also considered.
• Ability to navigate a complex multi-system environment and quickly understand new systems.
