Component Performance Engineer – FHS Engineering

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Component Performance Engineer to join the FHS‑Component Engineering team in Toulouse. You will act as the primary technical liaison for a set of airline customers, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery of FHS engineering services that directly influence Airbus business performance and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and address reliability‑critical drivers using short, mid and long‑term levers such as GMTBUR claims, repair price challenges, retrofit decisions and SISP/MISP openings.
• Prepare and present regular Technical Performance Reviews for customers, supporting their daily operations.
• Collaborate with global Airbus functions, including SMRx, overseas engineering teams, Procurement, Supplier Management and Program Support.
• Contribute to the review and optimisation of program cost bases to enhance market competitiveness.
• Participate in business development projects and propose improvements to service offerings.

Required profile

• Experience in system engineering and customer‑facing technical support.
• Familiarity with FHS‑C/PbH processes and component reliability activities.
• Understanding of airline maintenance operations or MRO environments is a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
