Lighting & Cabin Systems Specialist

About the role

ATR, the world’s leading regional aircraft manufacturer, is seeking a Lighting & Cabin Systems Specialist to join its Engineering Directorate within Sylvain’s Electrical Systems team. You will work on a range of ATA chapters covering electrical standards, power generation, cockpit panels, aircraft lighting, cabin systems and engine electrical starting.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to lighting and cabin systems modifications and projects, including specification preparation and supplier selection.
• Support validation of certification programs, means of compliance, and service documents such as SBs, NTOs, TAs, FCs, and SILs.
• Provide technical support for production, flight tests, troubleshooting, in‑service issues and obsolescence management.
• Coordinate with major partners (Leonardo, Airbus) and suppliers, and share knowledge with the team.
• Investigate in‑service events, propose corrective actions, and update the Electrical Systems roadmap.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Aeronautical, Electrical, Optical or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in aeronautical aircraft engineering systems.
• Knowledge of Part 21, CS/FAR 25, V&V processes and electrical standards (RTCA, EUROCAE, SAE).
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and French (Italian is a plus).
