Aeronautical Systems Safety Engineer

About the role

ATR is seeking a Systems Safety Engineer to join the Engineering Directorate, supporting safety analyses for all aircraft systems in line with ARP 4754(A) and ARP 4761 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Write and update system safety analyses and related documentation.
• Define safety requirements for equipment and system suppliers.
• Participate in project review meetings after reviewing and approving deliverables.
• Maintain and refresh existing safety documents.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of certification specifications (JAR/FAR/CS 25, CS E, CS P) and development standards.
• In‑depth understanding of CS/AMC 25.1309, ARP 4754(A) and ARP 4761.
• Experience with system safety analyses (FHA, PSSA, SSA) and fault‑tree/dependence‑diagram modeling.
• Familiarity with common‑cause analyses (ZSA, PRAs, CMA) and FMEA/FMESE.
• Ability to communicate with internal teams and external suppliers in a multicultural environment.
• Fluent in English and French; Italian is a plus.

• Fault‑tree and dependence‑diagram software (e.g., SARAA).
• FHA, PSSA, SSA analysis techniques.
• ZSA, PRAs, CMA common‑cause analysis.
