Flight Management System V&V Engineer

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Flight Management System (FMS) Validation & Verification Engineer to join its FMS design office in Toulouse, France. The role covers validation and verification activities across the full product lifecycle of the new FMS.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive system Validation & Verification activities, including requirements management, laboratory and flight testing, and supplier coordination.
• Identify, manage and close anomalies throughout development.
• Participate in simulator test sessions with the FMS Lab team.
• Integrate V&V activities with internal customers, multi‑system function owners, designers and suppliers.
• Support safety and certification tasks related to the FMS.

Required profile

• Aeronautical, systems or avionics engineering degree (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in avionics system development and project management.
• Strong technical curiosity for complex functions and systems.
• Fluent English (negotiation level) and eligibility for security clearance.
