Cockpit Displays System Designer

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Cockpit Displays System Designer to join the System Cockpit & Avionics Platform Engineering Design department in Toulouse, France. You will work on the development of display systems for best‑selling aircraft, contributing to the future of cockpit displays, autonomy and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to functional requirements convergence at the upstream level.
• Deliver technical specifications and system interface documents in coordination with interfaced functions.
• Drive the development process, including supplier reviews, lab and aircraft testing, and certification activities.
• Monitor supplier activities and collaborate with the Airbus Flight Test centre.
• Promote agile and innovative ways of working with internal stakeholders such as system architects, safety specialists and certification teams.

Required profile

• Experience in cockpit display system development and integration.
• Familiarity with verification and validation activities.
• Ability to work with suppliers, flight‑test engineers and certification authorities.
• Strong collaboration skills across multiple internal disciplines.
