Software Engineer – Neuromorphic Vision Systems

About the role

Neurobus is building intelligent vision systems that combine neuromorphic hardware with advanced AI to power ultra‑energy‑efficient drones, defense platforms, and space applications. We are looking for a Software Engineer who will design and implement the core software that makes these novel sensors usable in real‑time environments.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain robust, scalable software frameworks and development processes (version control, testing, CI/CD, documentation).
• Design and optimise data‑processing pipelines and system interfaces for event‑based sensor streams, focusing on throughput, low latency, and usability.
• Develop interactive tools for visualising and analysing complex sensor data.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, AI designers, and product managers to define software architecture and ensure seamless integration.
• Validate and continuously optimise software through testing, performance benchmarking, and detailed analysis.
• Write clean, well‑documented, and testable code that meets the stringent requirements of defense and space applications.
