Senior Python Developer – Data & Research Platform

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Python Developer to join our Data and Research Team. The main goal is to build and enhance the research and data platforms used company‑wide, especially by Quantitative and Trading Teams, enabling design, testing and deployment of quantitative strategies with distributed computation, large‑scale backtesting, and rapid time‑to‑market capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality, reusable, and efficient code, such as libraries for the Data Engineering and Quantitative Trading teams.
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance through style guidelines, code reviews, and testing.
• Contribute to technical documentation and shared resources.
• Investigate and resolve issues by analyzing root causes and implementing effective solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Python software development.
• Strong understanding of testing practices within CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with large‑scale distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud environments, e.g., AWS.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database systems.
