Senior Software Engineer – Core Platform

About the role

abc-arbitrage develops quantitative and systematic trading strategies across global markets. The Core Platform team builds the technical foundations—compute, data, messaging, and developer tooling—that enable engineers to focus on business challenges. As a Senior Software Engineer you will join a five‑person team responsible for designing and maintaining these high‑performance services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement core services, frameworks, and libraries primarily in C#/.NET.
• Create and maintain Python SDKs and integration layers for the Data & Research ecosystem.
• Work on distributed computing, data infrastructure, messaging, and internal APIs.
• Build tools that abstract infrastructure complexity and improve developer productivity.
• Investigate production issues, ensure reliability, scalability, and security.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in backend or systems software engineering.
• Experience with distributed systems, concurrency, and performance optimization.
• Ability to own a technical problem from design through production.
• Interest in learning C#/.NET and contributing to platform engineering.
