Embedded Linux Engineer for Medical Automation

About the role

We are looking for an Embedded Linux Engineer with a strong emphasis on software development and automation to build the software that runs on our sensing and prediction system. You will work closely with hardware, product, and research teams to abstract hardware complexity and deliver robust software layers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain the embedded Linux platform that controls sensors (cameras, radar, audio, LEDs).
• Develop the toolchain, automated build system, and test/performance frameworks.
• Manage device system updates and security fixes.
• Collaborate with the research team to optimise algorithms for the device.
• Contribute to a tech culture focused on diversity and excellence.

Required profile

• Strong coding skills in C/C++ and experience in at least one other language such as Python, Kotlin or Go.
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving abilities.
• Demonstrated experience with Embedded Linux systems (Yocto, Buildroot or similar).
• Experience in Linux kernel driver or U‑Boot development is a plus.
• Experience in security topics or Open Source development is a plus.
