Backend Developer – Hybrid (Labège, France)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our team in Labège on a hybrid basis. You will work closely with product managers and cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable services that power our core products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend code.
• Collaborate with product managers and other departments to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems for microservices health and performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices and tooling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of professional experience as a backend developer, preferably with large‑scale data processing.
• Fluent in both French and English, written and spoken.
• Willingness to work on‑site at the client office two days per week.

Required skills

• Python (primary programming language).
• TypeScript (a plus).
• Kafka for event streaming.
• Microservices architecture.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Geographic Information System (GIS) knowledge (nice‑to‑have).
