VP of Data & AI / Head of AI/ML

About the role

As the first AI/ML hire at a seed‑stage B2B AI platform, you will own the data function and build production‑grade systems that power entity resolution on over 800 million records and extract insights from business conversations. Working closely with the CTO, you will deliver core intelligence that surfaces high‑intent buyer signals and enables a next‑generation sales engine.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate production ML pipelines for entity resolution, signal ranking and NLP on unstructured business data.
• Own the end‑to‑end data pipeline stack, from ingestion through to model output delivery.
• Collaborate directly with the CTO to scale the AI engine and later recruit and lead a dedicated AI/ML team.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience building production ML systems (not research) with a focus on NLP or entity resolution.
• Proven background in FinTech or B2B sales intelligence, understanding buyer‑intent signals and contact graphs.
• Experience in 0‑to‑1 startup environments as an early ML hire, comfortable writing code and shipping fast.
